After an uneventful 4-hour flight we arrived at Arrecife airport (Lanzarote) at 12:35 as scheduled.
“Los Jameros Playa” where we are to stay for 11 days is part of the Seaside Group of Hotels and much bigger than we expected, but happily there seem to be only few guests.
Our room is above all hopes lovely - with terrasse and garden view. I can hear the Atlantic Ocean.
It is not cold, but the day is grey and we are too
to do anything else than to look for a place to eat.
- and, since we are in Spain, why not go for Crispy Duck in the most delicious and Chinese way ?

Tomorrow is said to be warm and sunny. We should have sun on our terrasse until noon and we are looking forward to do nothing at all for the very first day.
The walk back through the garden is most pleasant - Bourgainvilla in all shades of red, Hybiscus,
huge Dragon trees and strangely shaped cacti.
